a glasgow kiss

Basically, a bunch of sixth years at a Glasgow high school got given the coolest school project ever. We are getting the opportunity to record and produce an album to sell nationally, and put on a gig. We are a few months into the project and have secured the QMU as our venue. Anyone who has been to a gig there will know how great it is, giving the perfect mix of energy and intimacy. Some amazing bands have played there, Biffy Clyro and Nirvana to name a few, and I’m really excited about giving unsigned bands the chance to play there. The CD is named a glasgow kiss, hence the name of the blog.

I’ll blog about different aspects of the project in later posts, and maybe even stick up some photos by the end of the night!

A Glasgow Kiss is going to be amazing, get involved and be part of something really fun while discovering new bands! (:
